Obituary

Alfonso ‘Al’ Anzuoni, Jr., 89 of Medford, died Sunday after a long illness in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Medford, MA.

Born in Everett, he lived in Medford for the past 50 years and was the son of the late Julia (Marcella) and Alfonso Anzuoni Sr. Al retired in 1984 as a truck driver with Carolina Freight in Woburn after 29 years of service. He served during World War II in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1945. Al was a member of the Medford VFW Post 1012 and the Teamster Local 25.

Beloved husband of the late Josephine (LaMonica). Devoted father of Diane Caddick of Andover. Loving grandfather of Stephanie Sirbak of Townsend. Loving great grandfather of Meagan and Shannon Sirbak. Brother of Robert Anzuoni of East Boston and Anna Constantino of Burlington.

A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday at 10 AM.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 9-10 AM.

Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent in Alfonso’s name to the National Kidney Foundation, 85 Astor Avenue, Suite 2, Norwood, MA 02062.
