
Ella Florence (Wydler) Phelps of 475 High Street, Mystic died Wednesday at Mystic Manor where she had been a resident since September, 2000.
Ella was born in Ledyard CT on July 6, 1920, where she lived most of her life. One of 18 children, she was the daughter of David and Rose (Morgan) Wydler.
Her husband, Clyde W. Phelps died on July 23, 1981.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Thomas and Deborah Phelps of Lisbon, a granddaughter and her husband, Melanie and Robert Emery of Old Mystic, and two great-grandchildren, Kyle and Sarah Emery, also of Old Mystic.
The Funeral Service will be conducted at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, historic downtown Mystic on Monday at 10am. Burial will follow at Lambtown Cemetery, Ledyard. There are no visiting hours.
