Ralph C. Antonelli, Sr., 78, of Spencer Road, Greenville, died on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Berkshire House, Providence. He was the husband of Lillian E. (May) Antonelli. They had been married for 59 years.
Born in Johnston, he was the son of the late Luigi and Giovannia(Campabianco)
Antonelli. He had lived in Smithfield since 1966 previously living in Cranston. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
He had worked with Citizen’s Bank in the Maintenance Division before retiring.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Russell E. of Providence, Richard D. of North Providence, Ralph C., Jr. of Foster and Jeanne M. of North Providence, sister, Catherine Iozzi of Johnston, grandchildren, James and Kristy Antonelli, Kelsy and Erin Ozga and great-granddaughter, Lilly Antonelli. He was the brother of the late Robert, Joseph, Anthony, Salvatore, Frank Antonelli and Rose Marchetti.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 10:30am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial with military honors will be in Highland Park, Johnston. Visitation Tuesday 9-10:30am.
