Christine A. (Aitken) Todaro, age 75, died Saturday, April 9, 2011 after a brief illness, at the South Shore Hospital. She was the loving wife for 55 years of Andrew M Todaro. Christine also leaves behind her 3 daughters, Christine Geary and her husband Peter of Avon, Sandra Nolan and her husband Michael of Halifax and Patricia Sylvester and her husband Anthony of Abington and her seven grandchildren; Melanie, AJ, Stacy, Martha, John, Joey and Sean. Christine was the daughter of the late John W. and Irene D. Aitken, and the sister of the late Douglas Aitken. She was born and grew up in North Quincy, graduated from North Quincy High School in 1953 and lived in Weymouth for the last 45 years. The Funeral will be from the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Thursday, April 14 at 10:30 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at the St. Francis Xavier Church, 261 Pleasant St. S. Weymouth at 11:30 A.M. Visiting Hours will be on Wednesday from 4 to 8 P.M.
