Lawrence, MA- Antonietta C. “Toni” (Coletta) Fazio, 90, died peacefully Saturday, April 9th at Sutton Hill in North Andover, with her loving family by her side.
Born in Lawrence on September 1, 1920, Antonietta was the daughter of Teodoro and Rosa (Greco) Coletta of Italy.
For 20 years, Toni worked for Raytheon and later Western Electric in North Andover, until her retirement.
Toni was a member of the Pioneers of America and St. Rita’s Sodality. She was a devout Catholic with a deep faith in God and was a communicant of Holy Rosary/Corpus Christi Parish. She lived in Lawrence for many years until retiring to her home at Seabrook Beach. She loved her summers at the beach where she enjoyed gardening and cooking for her many friends and family members. Toni loved traveling with her sister and other family members and had the privilege of visiting the Vatican.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She left a permanent imprint on all their hearts that will stay forever.
The widow of the late Vincent J. "Jim" Fazio with whom she shared 65 years of marriage, Antonietta is survived by her two sons, John V. Fazio and his wife Fina of Methuen and Robert T. Fazio of Salisbury Beach, three granddaughters, Lisa Caruso and her husband Maurice of Hampton Falls, NH, Bianca Labbe and her husband Raymond P. of Danville,NH, and Andrea K. Fazio and her finace Michael D. Lyons of Boston. She will also be sadly missed by her beloved great-grandchildren, Brittany, Victoria, Chase, and Skylar , as well as many neices and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, April 12th from 4-8 p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence St., Methuen. A Funeral Mass will take place at 1p.m. on Wednesday, April 13th at Corpus Christi/Holy Rosary Parish in Lawrence. Entombment will follow in the Mary Immaculate Mausoleum.
