Sotir Isak, 90, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011, with his family by his side. He leaves his wife of 62 years, Gjeorgji (Millona) Isak; a daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Pellumb Aliaj; a son and daughter-in-law, Ilir and Ardjana Isak; 3 grandchildren; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins in Albania. He was born in Dardhe, Korce, Albania, son of Pandi and Dhoksi (Mangelli) Isaak. He served in the Albanian Army during WWII. He graduated first in his class from Tirana University School of Law in Albania when he was 40 years old. He practiced law until his retirement in 1983. He and his family moved to Worcester in 1998. He was a member of St. Mary's Albanian Orthodox Church.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, April 9, from 10:00 a.m. - 12 noon, in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street. Immediately following calling hours, burial will be in Hope Cemetery.
