East Bridgewater – Lorraine G. (Lamb) Walls 81 died Monday April 4 after a period of failing health. She was the beloved wife of the Elvis C. Walls.
Born and raised in West Bridgewater she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Effie (Drew) Lamb, and had been a resident of East Bridgewater for the past 35 years.
She enjoyed the outdoors and spent many hours in her gardens. She was known for her amazing “Green Thumb” and her beautiful flower gardens. She loved watching all the wildlife in her area.
In addition to her husband Elvis she is survived by her sons John Gusciora of VA and Edward Gusciora of Stoughton, her brother John Lamb of Marshfield and FL, and her sisters Evelyn Caron of AZ and Janet Fairbanks of Scituate as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held Friday April 8 at 12 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Central Cemetery, East Bridgewater. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 10 AM – 12 PM. Donations in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5 Manley Street, West Bridgewater, MA 02379.
