Timothy F. “Tim” Ahern, of Natick, native of Co. Cork, Ireland, passed away on April 4, 2011.
Son of the late Thomas & Julia (Anglin) Ahern, Tim immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 11, settling in the Boston area. After marrying the late Helen L. (Riley) Ahern who passed away in 1997, Tim settled in Natick. He was employed as a sheetmetal worker for many years & enjoyed dancing & visiting Hampton Beach.
Tim was the brother of the late Mary, Jeremiah, & Francis Ahern. He was the uncle of Maureen Ahern of Franklin, Patricia Ahern of Watertown, Sharon Nolan of Wrentham, Francis Ahern of Cambridge, & Clifford Ahern of Springfield & many grand nieces & nephews & great-grand nieces & nephews.
Relatives & friends are invited to attend Tim’s funeral service in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. (at Natick Common) NATICK on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, So. Natick. Visiting hours will be held from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
