Obituary

Sheila E. Wilson, 72 of Derry died Monday April 4, 2011 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born November 7, 1938 in Stonington, ME, and was a daughter of the late William and Gertrude (Carter) O’Brien. As a child, Mrs. Wilson relocated with her family to Malden, MA, and was a graduate of Malden high school.
She moved to NH over 43 years ago, and had been a resident of Derry for the past 35 years. She worked for many years as a Certified Nurses Assistant, with Elliot Home Healthcare of Manchester, caring for patients in their own homes, she was an avid reader, enjoyed bingo and loved walking. She will long be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and also for her two beloved dogs, Sammy and Willie.
Members of the family include her husband of 31 years, Allen Wilson of Derry, four daughters, Linda Jones of Pembroke, Karen Soule and Bryon Fisher of Rindge, NH, Kimberly and doc Taylor of Hill, NH and Deanna Prindiville and Bob Eaton, of Weare, six grandsons, William and Steven Rears, Jeffrey and Gregory Chase, Michael Prindiville, and Wil Taylor, one granddaughter, Sarah Fisher, and three great grandchildren. Two sisters, Jolene and Jim O’Leary of Haverhill, MA and Judith Curra of Billerica, MA. As well as close family friends, Jamie Jobin of Pembroke and Mike Prindiville of Weare. Mrs. Wilson was predeceased by her son William Jones, in 1980.
Calling hours were Friday, April 8th from 12pm to 2pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. The funeral service will follow at 2pm in the funeral home. Burial was in the Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the local hospice programs of ones choice.
