Mr. Sebastiano Vricella, age 94, of Somerville formerly of Italy passed away in his home following a brief illness. Born in Salerno, Italy he was the son of the late Antonio Vricella and Angela (Pecora). He was the beloved husband of the late Assunta (Capo) Vricella. Mr Vricella was a Somerville resident for forty-two years and worked for many years as a brick layer and stone mason with the Granite Research Industries formerly of Somerville. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Sebastiano´s memory to St. Ann Church 100 Temple St. Somerville, MA 02145.
In addition to his wife, Mr Vricella is preceded in death by his son Antonio and is survived by his daughters; Angela Gelardi of Revere, Maria Tierno and Mafalda Verderese both of Somerville. He is also survived by seven loving grandchildren, ten loving great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, Friday at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Ann Church 399 Medford St. Somerville, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
