Fitzgerald, Garrett T. of So. Boston, formerly of Braintree, passed away March 31, 2011. Beloved son of Thomas and Kathleen ( Foley ) Fitzgerald of Braintree. Loving brother of Heather & Nicholas Fitzgerald of Braintree. Cherished uncle of Rory & Scarlett Mulkerin of Braintree. Loving partner of Melissa Haddad of So. Boston.
Garrett was currently a Developer and Consultant for the family business of Fitzgerald Construction Company in Braintree, MA. He was a 1987 graduate of Archbishop Williams High School excelling in both football and track. Garrett was honored in the AWHS Hall of Fame and was an all-scholastic football player. He continued to play football for Central Conn. State University graduating in 1993. Garrett developed a love of traveling after working with the Bechtel Corporation having visited over 40 countries. Garrett was very popular and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 2 - 8 pm in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Thomas More, Braintree at 10:30 am.
Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
