Cassie Lee”Candy” (Lear) Jarred 56 passed away Saturday March 26, 2011 at her home. She was a member of South Jefferson Christian Church, She started her teaching career in Bourbon County and was a former teacher for the JCPS system, at Valley High School and worked for Mother’s Day Out at PRP United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Brilliant Star Chapter #153, Beta Sigma Phi; Lady Auxillary of Fleet Reserve, Order of the Amaranth Melody Court Chapter # 16 .She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years Rayburn Jarred Jr., Three daughters; Beverly K. Jarred, Katherine L. Wells (Eric) and Deborah S. Noonkester (David). Eight grandchildren, Five great-grandchildren and one sister; Diana Rose Jett, uncle Donald Lear Sr. (Wanda),aunt JoAnn Holman, 2 nephews 1 niece and sister-in-law Virginia A. Carter. Her funeral will be Friday 10 am at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial in Lebanon National Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 12 pm to 8pm. Expression of sympathy to the Scottish Rite Language Development Program or other children’s program of your choice or James Graham Brown Cancer Center.
