Virginia M. Fuqua Exum, age 84 of Clarksville, TN, died Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Spring Meadows Health Care Center.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 4. 2011 at 2 p.m., at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel, with Rev. Paul Tramel and Rev. Matthew Charlton officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
She was born in Clarksville, TN on October 4, 1926, daughter of the late James J. Fuqua, Sr. and Ada Suiter Fuqua. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harvey A. Exum and two brothers, James and Billy Fuqua.
She was a member of Forest Street United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women's Society.
Survivors include two brothers, Charlton Fuqua and Malcolm Fuqua (Mary), both of Clarksville; three sisters, Martha Hoover, Clarksville, TN, Mildred Jensen, Columbia, SC and Mary Daly (Ed), Green Valley, AZ; and many nieces and nephews.
