Safronya “Fronnie” J. (Coteland) Beard 96, of Framingham died Monday March 28, 2011 at her home.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joel Beard.
A Framingham resident for the past 20 years she was born in Hertford, North Carolina, the daughter of the late William and Anna (Herdle) Coteland.
She is survived by one son, Reverend Percy L. Garrett and his wife Mildred of Framingham, 4 grandchildren William Garrett and his wife Marlene, Carol Brown –Garrett, Kenneth Garrett, Phyllis Garrett-Iziokhai,11 great-grandchildren Katrina Grinkley, Ochieanna Garrett- Mitchell and her husband Edward,Alexis Garrett- Bristol and her husband Rabby,Lawrence Grinkley, Shnik Houston, Kenya Smith,Omari Iziokhai, Justin Brown, Lateef Garrett,Tarik Garrett, Latteem Smith, 8 great-great grandchildren, Desre Grinkley, Asiana Simpson, Jalenet Smith, Nazir Houston, Kamaal Grinkley, Shane Garrett, Eli Bristol, & Ariana Smith.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral on Monday, April 4 at 11:00 A.M. in the New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 10 Frederick Street in Framingham. Burial will follow in St. Stephen's Cemetery
Visitation in the Church on Monday morning beginning at 10:00 A.M prior to the service.
