Obituary

AUBURN-Henry B. Weagle, Sr., 83 of Auburn, died Thursday, March 31st in his home. He leaves a son, Henry B. Weagle, Jr. of Auburn; a daughter, Patricia A. L’Ecuyer of Worcester; three brothers, Max and Carroll Weagle of Auburn and Gary Weagle of Rutland; a sister, Irene Parenteau of Auburn; five grandchildren, Loni, Monica, Alysha, Brandi and Luis; his companion, Theresa Ward of Auburn and her children; many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his former wife, Norma V. (Power) Weagle Dube, a brother, Laurie Weagle and a sister, Shirley West.
Mr. Weagle was born in Auburn, the son of Charles S. and Helen (Weagle) Weagle. He was a truck driver for William F. Lynch Company for 35 years until his retirement. Mr. Weagle was an U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War. He was an original member of the Dog House Club. Mr. Weagle enjoyed playing horseshoes and golf and was an avid New England Sports fan.
The funeral is Monday, April 4th with a service at 11:00 AM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday, April 3rd from 3:00 until 6:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the UMass Memorial Hospice, 650 Lincoln Street, Worcester, MA 01605.
