Canterbury-----Lawrence "Tom" T. Wilder, 50, of 310 Baptist Hill Road, died peacefully at his home on Sunday, March 27, 2011.
Mr. Wilder was born July 3, 1960 in Concord, Mass., the son of Lawrence P. and Ruth P. (Rollins) Wilder. He was a longtime resident of Canterbury and was self-employed as a Master Timber Framer and logger.
Mr. Wilder's passion was with woodworking. He was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed hiking and skiing. He loved his motorcycle rides and his many, many friends. He loved everyone.
Survivors include his wife and best friend, Carol "Susie" (Boutin) Wilder, of Canterbury; a son, John Thomas Wilder, of Laconia, his step-son Jeremy and his wife Sara of Maine; his mother, Ruth P. (Rollins) Towle, of Belmont; his step-mother , Helen D. Wilder of Tyngsboro, Mass., four brothers, James E. Wilder and his wife, Dawn, of Hudson, Christopher A. Wilder and his wife, Jamie, of Lowell, Mass., Paul W. Wilder and his wife, Jenine, of Bradford, Mass and Matthew F. Wilder, of Boston, Mass., two sisters, JoAnne L. Copp and her husband, Ken Bowick, of Canterbury and Janice E. Brinkley of Canterbury; his step-father, Ronald Towle of Franklin, five nieces and five nephews, 3 great nieces and 1 great nephew and 2 step-grandchildren of Maine. He was
predeceased by his father, Lawrence P. Wilder on March 5th, 2011.
There will be no calling hours.
A Celebration of Tom's life will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 1:00PM at his home 310 Baptist Hill Rd., Canterbury, NH.
A Private Burial will be held later in the spring in the family lot in Maple Grove Cemetery, Canterbury, N.H.
In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to the family in care of JoAnne Copp, 332 Baptist Hill Rd., Canterbury, NH, 03224, to help defray funeral expenses.
