GLOUCESTER: Beverly A. (Ehler) Muniz, 69, died Saturday, March 26, 2011 in the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She was the wife of the late Donald F. Muniz whom she married on June 24, 1964 and shared forty years of marriage. He died in 2004.
Born in Cambridge on March 21, 1942, she was the daughter of the late James and Gertrude (Donahue) Ehler. Beverly has resided in Lanesville most of her life.
She worked for many years as a homemaker for Action Inc., where she would assist the elderly with their house work and errands. Beverly enjoyed the time she spent with her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Donald J. Muniz and his fiancée, Amanda Michaels, loving grandmother of James F. and Jessyca R. Muniz all of Gloucester, three brothers, James Ehler and his wife, Susan and Paul Ehler all of Florida and David Ehler, two sisters, Barbara and her husband, Paul Goglia of Middleton and Janet Elwell of Florida and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her brother, Stephen Ehler.
Her funeral services will be privately held at the convenience of the family. Expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Veterans’ Memorial School PTO, 11 Webster St., Gloucester, MA 01930.
