Anna A. Barth Wolfe, 94, of Tifton died Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at Tift Health Care. Private services and burial will be held in Florida at a later date.
Mrs. Wolfe was born on March 10, 1917 in Detroit, Michigan and was the daughter of Gustav Barth and Elizabeth Finkelstein Barth, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Leon C. Wolfe, who died in 2006. The couple lived in Middletown, Ohio, until retiring to Barefoot Bay, Florida in 1977. Mrs. Wolfe was a homemaker and had lived in Tifton for the past four years.
Mrs. Wolfe is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Joanne and James V. Gaines of Port St. Lucie, Florida and Marilyn and George A. Wright, Jr. of Chula.
