Obituary

Worcester - Richard M. Fish passed away Monday, March 28, 2011, at Golden Living Center - The Hermitage. He is survived by his wife Wanda E. (Gosk) Fish; two sons and a daughter - Richard J. Fish, Timothy J. Fish and his wife Judy, and Sandra A. Harrington and her husband John - all of Worcester; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Malcom and sister Doris Fish. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Doris E. (Lovell) and Harry J. Fish. He served in the US Army during WWII and participated in the Battle of the Bulge. He was wounded in Luxembourg and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was the owner of Charles R. Fish Nurseries of Worcester for 40 years, retiring in 1986. He was a member of the YD Club of Worcester.

A calling hour will be held Friday, April 1, from 10-11 a.m. at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street. The funeral service and burial in Hope Cemetery will be private. Memorial donations may be sent to the Golden Living Center, Alzheimer's Dept, 383 Mill St Worcester 01602.
