Carroll Atherton, 89 of Jeffersontown passed away March 28, 2011 at Norton Suburban Hospital.
He was an office equipment technician for SCM for 35 years and had his own office equipment sales company, he was Past President of the Jeffersontown Rotary Club and a member of the Jeffersontown Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Alberta Mae Atherton and his son, William Douglas Atherton.
He is survived by his son, Rick Atherton, daughter, Mary Elizabeth Twohey (Tom), sister, Dorothy Moser, grandchildren, Amanda Joy Langford (Craig), Eric Brenden Atherton (Stephanie), Carolyn Mae Dean (Jeff), Kevin Gregory Ernspiker, Matthew Douglas Atherton (Sara), Kristi Ann Atherton and great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 1 pm, Thursday at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd with burial at Jeffersontown Cemetery. Visitation 2-8 pm, Wednesday at the funeral home. Online condolence www.OwenFuneralHome.com
