Mrs. Sandra Annette Overby, age 69, of Rural Hall, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Davidson County on May 21, 1941 to the late Cecil and Margret Evelyn Shook Henderson. Mrs. Overby worked as a School Bus Driver and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Mrs. Overby is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, James William “Bill” Overby of the home, One Daughter, Deborah Lynn Swaim, of Rural Hall, one step-daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and James Knox, of Rural Hall, one son and daughter-in-law, William Wayne and Charlene Overby, of Winston Salem, three grandchildren, Ashley Knox, Joshua Poindexter, and Joseph Lemons, and one sister and brother-in-law Peggy Ann and Don Clark, of Oak Island. Mrs. Overby was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Cox-Needham Chapel at 11:00 A.M with the Rev. David Wooten officiating with interment to follow at State Line Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 28, 2011 from 7-9 PM at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.
