Mr. Howard Wilson Jacobs, Jr., 69 of Rockingham, died Thursday, March 24, 2011 in the Carroll Roberson Hospice Center in Fayetteville.
No public services are planned.
A lifelong resident of Richmond County, Mr. Jacobs was born on June 25, 1941, to the late Howard W. and Thelma Johnson Jacobs. He had worked in paper production at Cascade Industries.
He is survived by two sons, Anthony Jacobs of Georgia, Stacy Jacobs of Fayetteville; two stepsons, Woody Lunch of Cordova, Lonnie Ledwell of Alabama; a brother, Richard Jacobs of Rockingham; three sisters, Sarah Weatherford of Rockingham, Peggy Barker of Kinston, Cathy Chavis of Rockingham; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
