NARDI, Flora Bell Catherine age 75, of Richmond, Virginia went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 18th, 2011.
Flora was born November 5, 1935 in the Bronx, NY to her parents Mr. and Mrs. Roy and Cecelia Miller, but she was raised in Teaneck, NJ.
Flora graduated the Academy of Mt. St. Ursula and attended Fairleigh Dickinson University where she took courses in Fashion and Design. She was later married to her long time sweet heart Robert A, Nardi, Sr. on August 4th, 1963 at St Anastasia’s Cathloic Church in Teaneck, New Jersey. The new Mr and Mrs Nardi later danced at their reception to their song, “Bobbies Girl”. Robert and Flora made their home in Washington Township, New Jersey, where they started their family. Flora excelled in many areas: first and foremost as a mother of two boys and a successful home-maker, second as a business owner with her husband, owning and operating two businesses. Wild Ridge Service Centers and later, the Coral Sands Motel where she and her husband Robert eventually retired. Upon Robert’s passing Flora moved down to Virgina to be near her Grandchildren. Flora always believed that, “With God anything was possible, but you had think first, work hard and not give up.”
Flora was one of three children and is survived by her sister, Patricia Deraney (Edward) and her brother Roy Miller. She is also survived by her children: Robert A Nardi, Jr. (Daisy), Christopher P Nardi (Joanna), Grandchildren (Erica, Isabella, Christiana, Christopher, Brandon, Austin), Step-grandchildren (Vanessa, Phillip and Peter) Great Grand-children (Cierra, Cash).

Viewing will be on Friday March 25, 2011 from 2-4pm and again from 7-9pm. Funeral and Mass will be held on Saturday, March 26th at St Anastasia’s Catholic Church located at 1095 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666 (201) 837-3354.
