Augusta, GA- Mr. Norman F. Wilson, 76, entered into rest on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at University Hospital.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home, with a service in the room at 7:15 PM.
Survivors include his wife and true love of 51 years, Joyce Wilson, one son, Kevin M. Wilson; two daughters, Gina Wilson, and Lisa Wilson; and loving nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister, Vivian Talpey.
Mr. Wilson was born on December 7, 1934 in Moose River, Maine. He is the son of Ernest & Vera Wilson. Mr. Wilson graduated Valedictorian from Jackman High School in 1952. He then attended University of Maine, worked as a carpenter, and then joined the Army. He married Joyce Sherrod in 1960. He graduated in 1968 from Augusta College. Mr. Wilson worked Augusta Chronicle, Proctor & Gamble, King Mill, and Morris Communications. He was President and Founder of Asset Advisors Corporation in Augusta since 1987.
