THOMPSON - Sharon Saxton Thompson, 63, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. She was born March 29, 1947 in Allegan, MI and moved to Yulee, FL 12 years ago from the Mandarin area of Jacksonville, FL. She had previously lived in Kalamazoo, MI.
Mrs. Thompson enjoyed the ocean and boating and she loved her family. She adored her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Thompson of Yulee, FL; two daughters, Jennifer Lancaster Davis (Brent) of Kalamazoo, MI and Sarah Lancaster McKinney (Chad) of Daytona Beach, FL; four sisters, Edna Sweezy, Lorna Healey, Beverly Moon and Carol Myers; four grandchildren, Sean and Lilian Davis, Erick and Adam McKinney; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Kalamazoo, MI.
