Mrs. Janet W. Kee
Augusta, GA---Mrs. Janet W. Kee, 54, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Trinity Hospital of Augusta.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 21, 2011, at The Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Kenneth Word officiating. Interment will follow at Pineview Memorial Gardens, North Augusta, SC.
Mrs. Kee was a graduate of North Augusta High School, attended Georgia Southern University and was a graduate of Phillips College. She was a member of The Hill Baptist Church and was an accomplished pianist.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bunie Ward Winn.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Charles F. “Charlie” Kee, daughter, Rachel E. Kee, both of Augusta, GA, father and step mother, Gene and Lillian Winn of Evans, GA, brothers, Donald Winn and wife Bridget of Grassy Creek, NC and Robert Winn and wife Tracy of Berea, KY, four nieces, Shannon Williamson and husband, Joshua, Kristen Maready and husband Marc, Kimberly Winn and Katherine Winn, all of North Carolina, three nephews, Christopher Winn of Kentucky, Joseph Winn and Jonathan Winn, both of North Carolina, one great nephew and brother in law, The Very Reverend Monsignor James S. Kee of Mobile, AL.
Pallbearers will be Roy Witherington, Jr., Michael Witherington, Adam Witherington, Samuel Witherington, Bob Witherington and Joshua Williamson.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 20, 2011 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, at Platt’s Crawford Avenue.
