Agnes (Pacheco) Walters, age 86, a lifelong resident of Fall River, passed away March 16, 2011. She was the beloved wife of Everett J. Walters Jr. for 65 years. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Jose and Francisca (Cabral) Pacheco. Prior to retiring, Agnes was a Seamstress for various Garment Manufacturers in Fall River, and a communicant of Good Shepherd Church.
Agnes was the mother of Susan A. DeSa of Dighton, grandmother of the late Alesia DeSa, Daniel DeSa Jr. and Michael DeSa both of Dighton, the sister of the late John & Anthony Pacheco and Lydia Mello, and the aunt to several nieces & nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on SATURDAY at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Good Shepherd Church, S. Main St. at 10:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours FRIDAY 4-8 P.M.
