Henry was passionate about his music and served faithfully for 40 years as the organist at the Christian Union Church in Metamora. During those years, he played for thousands of church services, weddings and funerals. For several years he donated his payment for church services back to the church which was instrumental in helping to purchase a new organ for the church when it was rebuilt.

Cremation rites will then be accorded with a memorial service at Metamora Christian Union Church at a later date.
