OHLMANN, Arthur H, age 84 of Sunrise, FL, formerly of Leonia, NJ died on March 11, 2011.
Devoted husband of the late Ruth K. Ohlmann (nee Yaegar), Devoted father of Christopher Ohlmann; predeceased by his son Arthur Nicholas Ohlmann and daughter Karen Joyce Ohlmann Simmons. Loving grandfather of Stacey Johnson, Melanie Odette, Stefanie Ohlmann, Melissa Ohlmann and Laura Ohlmann. Cherished great grandfather of Karen, Chloe, Hanna, Jack, Sophia and predeceased by Robby.
Arthur was a long-time employee of Tingue Brown & Co. of Englewood, NJ. He was a devoted parishioner and usher at United Methodist Church, Leonia, NJ. He served his country faithfully while enlisted in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was also passionate about stamp collecting.
Friends and family are invited for visitation at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ, today from 9-10 AM. A funeral service will begin at 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
