Mary Jo Tarrents, 77, Clarksville, Tn, died Tuesday March 15, 2011 at Montgomery Care and Rehab Center. A Clebration of Life Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday March 19, 2011 at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Jamie Mandrell officiating.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service on Saturday. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Tarrents was born February 13, 1934 in Sumner County, TN daughter of the late Joe Deweese and Myrtle Lane Deweese. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Lennie Christman.
She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Edwin Tarrents, two sons, David Tarrents (Julie), and Tim Tarrents, all of Clarksville; two sisters, Dorothy Francis and Geraldine Bursby, both of Cottontown, TN; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
