Claudette C. (Lebrun) Aubin 69, of Diamond Hill Rd. died Thursday in Sarasota Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Theodore "Ted" Aubin. A life long city resident she was born in Woonsocket a daughter of the late Adelard and Germaine (Bolduc) Lebrun. Claudette was co-owner along with her husband Ted, of Ted's Construction Company for thirty five years, retiring in 2006. She was a graduate of Woonsocket High School. Claudette was a member of the Red Hatters. She enjoyed traveling and golf and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by a son Ronald T. Aubin of Woonsocket, three daughters Jeannine Desjarlais of Blackstone, Jacqueline G. Chartier and Catherine Hermanson both of Woonsocket, a brother Roger Lebrun of Punta Gorta, FL, two sisters, Jeannine Crepeau of Woonsocket, and Lorraine Brunelle of Sarasota, FL, ten grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Maurice Lebrun.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:30 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 :30 AM in St. Joseph Church Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Thursday 4-8 PM.
