Richards, James W. of Weymouth, passed away March 14, 2011 at the age of 61.
Cherished son of the late Kenneth and Anna (Marshall) Richards. Beloved companion of Pamela Hooper of Weymouth. Loving father of Shannon Duffley and her husband David of South Boston, Sherry Hurt and her husband William of Kentucky, James Richards, Jr. of Quincy and John Richards of Quincy. Grandfather of 5 grandchildren. Cherished godfather of the late Samantha Hooper. Loving brother of Jeannette King of Rockland, Kenneth Richards, Jr. of Whitman, Dennis Richards of PA, Ralph Richards and his wife Kathy of Milton, Daniel Richards of AZ, Stephen Richards of PA and the late John Richards. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Jim worked as a housekeeper at Quincy Medical Center for the last 7 years. He loved music, especially Elvis Presley and enjoyed playing pool. His family describes him as a kind person with a great personality. He will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 3-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.
A Funeral service will follow on Wednesday at 7 PM in the funeral home.
