Ethelyn Mae Austin, 84, of Golden Heights, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011 in U.Mass. Hospital, Worcester.
She leaves one sister; Elinor G. Brown of Webster and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Miss Austin was predeceased by a sister; Ruth Hendrickson, and three brothers; Carl A.,Leslie U., and John V. Austin.
She was born in Thompson, CT., a daughter of Lucius and Nina (Anderson) Austin.
Ethelyn worked for many years at the former Allen Candy Co. in North Grosvenordale, Ct.
She enjoyed flowers and had a garden for many years.
She also belonged to the Pokeno Group at Golden Heights.
At her request, there are no calling hours.
Funeral Services will be Private. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
The Robert J. Miller Funeral Home and Lake Chapel, 366 School St., is assisting the family with arrangements.
