WORCESTER-Margaret J. (McKinnon) Maki, 97, formerly of Pleasant Valley Drive died Tuesday, January 13th in the Odd Fellows Home. Her husband John M. Maki died in 1979. She leaves her son John M. Maki, Jr. of Sterling, a daughter Beverly A. Cronin of Orlando, FL, her sister Mary Ann MacMullin of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, 5 grandchildren, many nephews and nieces. A son Robert Maki, 8 brothers and 2 sisters predeceased her.
She was born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia the daughter of Hector and Jane (MacLean) McKinnon and graduated from high school in Canada. Mrs. Maki was a homemaker and a member of St. Joan of Arc Church. She enjoyed walking, gardening and loved to dance.
The funeral is Friday, January 16th at 9:00 AM from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Flowers may be sent or memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
