Linda Joyce Pender born February 23, 1950 in Albuquerque, NM, passed away March 10, 2011 in Nashville, TN. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Rod and daughter Wisty; mother and father, Billie and Bob Hurttgam; sisters, Paula Ferguson, Lori Loding and Lisa Schmidt; sisters and brothers-in-law; aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews; cousins and friends - far too many to list, far too important to forget.
Her love, her laugh, her kindness, her strength and mixed up metaphors will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Remember her, not with sadness and sorrow, but with happiness and joy.
Niece, Faun Donald, said it so well:
She was one who carried a bit of magic and whimsy and a whole lot of spirit. Her laugh and her love will be missed in this life dearly. Rest in peace, my dreamer, and may you find more than you ever thought was possible - more than you imagined existed, and may your wings twinkle the brightest, so I can find you when I'm pushing through the darkness.
No services will be held in Nashville. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a future date in MI.
