Obituary

Wilfred J. “Fred” Paré, Jr., 84, of Salem, NH died Fri., March 11th at the Kindred Hospital in Peabody, MA.

Fred was born in Andover, MA the son of the late Alice (Pelletier) and Wilfred J. Paré, Sr. He lived in Salem for most of his life. He enjoyed helping others especially his neighbors. Fred loved the ocean and the mountains. He was a member of the Doodlebugs Tractor Club.
He was a US Army veteran, serving during World War II in Japan.

He was predeceased by his son James and his siblings Edward, Rita Gagnon, Anita Bolton and Gertrude Sharp.

David Paré of Leominster, MA
Nina White of MA
Stepdaughter: Beth Taylor and David Church of Haverhill, MA

4 Siblings: Alfred Paré and Bertha Kostiew of Salem, NH, Theresa Nicholson of Methuen, MA and Irene Ouellete of Amesbury, MA

9 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews

Calling hours will be Mon. March 14th from 4-8PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Funeral Service will be Tues. at 11AM at the Funeral Home. Burial is in the State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
