Marion (Nobile) Miller, 82, formerly of Woburn, MA, died Monday, January 12, 2004 in the Integrated Health Services in Derry, NH. Mrs. Miller was born in Boston, MA on June 13, 1921, a daughter of the late Santo and Mary (LaPriola) Nobile. She was a resident of Derry since 2001 formerly living in Woburn, MA. Marion received her degree from the Bryant and Straton Business School. She was employed as an executive secretary for the Raytheon Corp. and retired after 40 years of employment. She also worked part time for Jordan Marsh for 20 years. Marion was an avid Bingo player, and truly enjoyed the time she spent with her Bingo friends. She also volunteered at Saint Barbara's Church in Woburn.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary M. Rieger of Londonderry, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Richard Miller in 1997. She was also predeceased by her four brothers, John, Michael, Dominic and Santo.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 16th at 10:00am in the St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry. Friends may call on Thursday from 3 - 5 and 7 - 9 in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Private entombment will be in the Mt. Auburn Cemetery Mausoleum in Cambridge, MA.
