ROCKINGHAM: Mr. Tommy Brian Kempen, Jr., 17, of Rockingham, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:oo PM on Sunday, March 13, in the Highland Acres Church of God with Rev. Jim Horne and Rev. Michael Carpenter officiating. Internment will be private.
Tommy was born on December 25, 1993 to Tommy B. Kempen Sr., and Kelly E. Hinson. He was a student and had attended Roberdel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jeffrey Alan Kempen.
He is survived by his parents, Tommy Kempen, Sr., and Kelly Hinson, both of Rockingham; a sister, Tabitha Renea Kempen of the home; paternal grandmother, Vickie Kempen of Rockingham; maternal grandparents Jim & Cathy Hinson of Rockingham; uncles Chris Hinson, Charles Kempen, and Morris Livingston; and aunt Quston Kempen Livingston.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6-8:00 PM at Highland Acres Church of God, and at other times at 48 Bunker St., Rockingham.
