Shirley A. O'Dell, 74 of Medford, died Tuesday unexpectedly in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Medford, MA.
Born in Porter, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Frances (Douglas) and Howard Chick.
Shirley retired in 1991 as a Mental Health Worker employed by Tri City Mental Health for 10 years and previously with Bournwood Hospital in Brookline.
Devoted mother of Sueann O'Dell of Medford and the late David Purington. Loving grandmother of Tonisha Tornquist, Michelle Purington and Chris Purington. Also survived by 5 loving great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service and interment will be private.
