Raffaela “Ella” Fiorentino, 97, of Brockton died peacefully March 7, 2011 at Heights Crossing Assisted Living. Born and raised in East Boston, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Carolina (Celia) Fiorentino. Following her graduation from the New England Conservatory of Music she taught piano for several years; then returned to college and graduated with a degree in Dental Hygiene from Forsythe Dental School. For over 50 years she had been a Dental Hygienist for Dr. Cohen in Boston and Dr. Rifkin in Bridgewater. Ella was a volunteer at Brockton Hospital for many years; enjoyed cooking and baking; but her biggest enjoyment in life was her family and Italian heritage.
Ella is survived by a brother Nicholas Fiorentino of New Hampshire and her nieces and nephews Paula Luoma, Carol Maloney and Frank, Nick, David and Paul Fiorentino. She was the sister of the late Mary and Domenic Fiorentino and aunt of the late Robert Fiorentino.
Visitation will be at the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday 9-10am followed by a funeral service at 10am. Burial will be in Melrose Cemetery.
