Dawn M. Kolf, 102, of Hampton, NH died Sunday, March 6, 2011 at the Oceanside Healthcare Center in Hampton. She was born January 16, 1909 in New Castle, IN, a daughter of the late Edward and Anna (Smith) Ducey. Mrs. Kolf had been a resident of Hampstead for over fifty years. She was a very well known breeder of Boston Terriers, yielding many champion show dogs.
She is survived by one daughter, Loretta Murray and her husband Albert of Brockton, MA; four grandsons, Albert Jr., William, Michael and Edward Murray; one granddaughter, Karen MacDonald; and ten great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband John H. Kolf in 1978.
A calling hour was held on Friday, March 11th from 8:45 to 9:30am at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave, Derry. The burial will be in the West Hampstead Cemetery in Hampstead in the Spring.
