Obituary

PALMER: Marlene A. (Dooley) Wajda 56, of 21 Bowden St., died peacefully with her family at her side at her daughter’s home in Spencer on Sunday, March 6.

She leaves her husband of 8 years John F. Wajda, her sons Justin P. Hendrickson and his partner Abigail Woodman and their son Shawn Foster Hendrickson of Portland, Me., and Ryan P. Hendrickson of Royal Oak, Mich., her daughter Jill A. Moschini and her husband Anthony of Spencer, two sisters Marie (Dooley) Granlund of Rutland and Margaret Zenkus and her husband Algrid of Worcester, many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son Shawn M. Hendrickson in 1998.

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of John F. and Rose Marie (Jennette) Dooley. She later graduated from North High School and Quinsigamond Community College all in Worcester. She attended the Salter School and Anna Maria College in Paxton. She was a member of the Gospel Light Christian Fellowship Church in Danielson, Ct.

She enjoyed animals, music, the ocean, her family and especially her grandson.
The family would like to thank Jewish Home Hospice for the exceptional care given Marlene during her illness.

Calling hours for Marlene will be held on Tuesday, March 8 from 4 to 7p.m., in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terrace, Spencer. A Funeral Service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 7p.m. Burial will be private and at a later date in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. Please omit flowers.
