Katherine E. "Kay" Metz, 67, of Londonderry, NH, died Sunday, January 11, 2004 in the Elliot Hospital, Manchester. Mrs. Metz was born in Boston, MA on May 10, 1936, a daughter of the late George and Rose (Larson) Murray. She was a resident of Londonderry since 1974, formerly living in New Bedford, MA. She was employed as a Bus Driver for Ryder. Mrs. Metz was an avid bingo player.
She is survived by her husband, Carl N. "Bud" Metz of Londonderry, one son, John Metz of Manchester, two daughters, Cindy Slater and her husband Robert of Londonderry, Karla Metz of Londonderry, five grandchildren, one sister, Gloria Gustafson of Dedham, MA, many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 15th at 10:00am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. Burial will be in the spring in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Londonderry. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3 - 5 and 7 -9pm.
