Obituary

Mr. Joseph Vigliotti, age 93 of Somerville died Friday in the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. He was the husband of the late Angelina (DeCristoforo) Vigliotti.
Mr. Vigliotti was born in Boston, he was the son of the late Antonio and Josefina (Sordello) Vigliotti. He served in the Army during WWII. In earlier years, he and his wife enjoyed attending the festivals in Boston’s North End.
He was employed by the former East Boston Lombardo’s Function Facility.
Following his initial retirement he returned to Lombardo’s where he assumed the position of foreman responsible for setting up and monitoring the needs of incoming functions.
He was a member of the Arlington Men’s Club. He enjoyed frequent trips to Foxwoods and Mohegan sun. Above all he was a loving husband and father who doted on his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by a son: Ronald Vigliotti of MO. and is the father of the late Carol Ann Neal. Loving grandfather of Kelly Neal of CO.; Mark Vigliotti of Taunton, Keith Neal of Andover and Michelle Lewis of Billerica. Loving great grandfather of 6 great grandchildren.
Brother of Josephine Smith and James Vigliotti of Somerville, Anthony Vigliotti of FL. and the late Angie Spinazola & Yolanda Vigliotti.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main Street Medford on Monday at 9:00 am. Funeral Mass in St. Ann Church 339 Medford Street Somerville at 10:00 Am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 3-7 PM.
Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
