James H. White, 51, of New Bedford died unexpectedly, Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, son of Mildred E. (Viveiros) White of Westport and the late James H. “Red” White, Jr., he had lived in Westport for most of his life. He worked for Fall River Partnership for 20 years. Mr. White enjoyed working on race cars, taking trips to Foxwoods and loved listening to Aerosmith.
Including his mother, survivors include a son: James H. White of Fairhaven; a daughter: Tammie J. Pacheco of New Bedford; former wife: Anna M. Rego; a sister: Hazel D. Teague of Westport; 2 grandchildren: Tyren Pacheco and Chasity Pacheco; and several nieces and nephews.
He was brother of the late Sandra M. White.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, March 7, 2011 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Sunday 4 – 7 P.M.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
