Lee Tarrant, age 80, Douglas, GA passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Tarrant was employed by Fleetwood as a carpenter. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2011 in the Harrell Grove Church Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Survivors include: daughter: Marilyn (Clyde) Bennett, Douglas, GA; sons: Eddie L. (Diane) Tarrant, Wendell (Jennie) Tarrant, both of Douglas, GA, Craig (Ruby) Tarrant, Jacksonville, FL; brothers: Travis (Christy) Tarrant, Hampshire, TN, James Olen Tarrant, Ocean Way, FL; sisters: Lurlyne McGregor, Maxine Binkley and Jody Jones all of Jacksonville, FL; 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 4. 2011 at Sims Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
