Eleanor C. (Coggeshall) Walton, of Plymouth, formerly of Brewster, passed away February 28th at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Frederick W. Walton. Mother of Frederick W. Walton Jr. of TX, Stephen A. Walton of ME and Jack A. Walton of MA. Sister of Barbara Frazier of Plymouth and the late Joseph H. Coggeshall, Carolyn Davis, Betty Taylor and Dick Coggeshall. She also leaves 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Born in Brewster to the late James and Eva (Gray) Coggeshall, Eleanor graduated from Plymouth High School in 1934. She worked in the Notions Department in Buttner's for over 20 years and later became the buyer where she retired from in 1980. She also worked for Curriers Restaurant, Pine Wood Lodge and did private duty nursing. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Mary Chilton Club, the Old Colony Chorus and Church of the Pilgrimage where she was a Sunday School Teacher for many years.
