Reardon, William L. lifelong resident of Quincy, passed away February 27, 2011. Beloved husband of Jeanne (Delmonico) Reardon of Quincy.
Loving father of William A. Reardon and his wife Michele of Plymouth, Mark T. Reardon and his wife Faith of Quincy. Brother of John Reardon of Marshfield, Eleanor Southwick of Marshfield, Margaret Poillucci of FL, Richard and Kathleen Wells both of Quincy. Devoted grandfather of Brooke and Nicholas Reardon of Plymouth and Mark T. Jr., Brett , Amber and Sierra Reardon all of Quincy.
William was a 1956 graduate of Quincy High School. William was a Support Staff Specialist at the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office in Dedham for 20 years before retiring in 2009, in his earlier years Bill worked as a plumber in Brookline. William enjoyed golf and was an avid Bruins fan. Bill’s passion was umpiring Girls high school softball and local men’s and women’s softball leagues. He was a member of the Amateur Soft Ball Association and held various offices in the Association. Above all William loved spending time with his grandchildren who were the light of his life. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Quincy at 10 AM.
Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
