Worcester – Joseph Oslowski, 75, of Worcester died on Saturday, February 26th in the Saint Francis Home after an illness.
Mr. Oslowski leaves behind his wife of 54 years Jeanine Oslowski; a son Michael A. Oslowski and his companion Leah Edwards of South Grafton; three daughters Lynda J. Brindisi and her husband Robert of Worcester, Laurie J. Oslowski of Grafton and Lisa J. Oslowski and her wife Lynne Travers of Worcester; his loving and dear sister Rose Williams and her husband Ken of Worcester; six brothers Walter Oslowski, William Oslowski and his wife Jean, Stanley Oslowski and his wife Ann all of Worcester, Henry Oslowski and his wife Barbara of Shrewsbury, Raymond Oslowski of Leicester and Richard Oslowski of North Dakota; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
Joseph was born in Worcester son of the late Boleslaw and Statia (Prachniak) Oslowski and is predeceased by two brothers Edward and John Oslowski. He also served in the United States Army.
Mr. Oslowski worked for 26 years as a cutter for the former Brown Shoe Co. then worked for the Davey’s Handbag Company as a foreman until his retirement. Joseph was an avid puzzle maker and enjoyed tinkering with everything and anything to make it a more useful item.
A celebration of Mr. Oslowski’s life will be held in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. from 9 to 11 AM on Thursday, March 3rd. Donations may be made to the Massachusetts Veterans Shelter 69 Grove Street Worcester, MA 01605.
