AUBURN- Cecile V. (Leroux) Muzzy, 86, of 14 Masonic Circle, formerly of Franklin Street, a life long resident of Auburn, died Saturday in the Life Care Center after an illness.
Her husband Edward J. Muzzy died in 1974
She is survived by her four children; Stephen E. Muzzy, of Millbury, John G. Muzzy, of Charlton, Diane Bertel of, Auburn. Among her survivors she leaves a brother George Leroux, of Auburn, and a sister Irene Vaudreil, of Worcester.
A son, George Leroux, and a sister Alice Thibeault, predecease her.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Lumedic and Roseanna (Lemire) Leroux; she was educated in Worcester, before moving to Auburn where she has lived since 1959
Mrs. Muzzy was a Waitress for the former Jordan Marsh Store in Worcester for many years, and the former Doctor’s Hospital.
He funeral will be held Tuesday from the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Holy Name of Jesus Church 53 Illinois St. Worcester, burial will follow in Notre-Dame Cemetery. Calling Hours at the funeral home will be held from 5-8PM Monday.
